The City of Daingerfield is proud to maintain two beautiful public parks that serve as gathering places, recreational hubs, and peaceful green spaces for residents and visitors alike. Whether you're planning a family picnic, attending a ballgame, or enjoying a quiet walk under the trees, there's something for everyone in our local parks.

City Park – A Place to Relax and Reconnect

Located in the heart of town, City Park offers a shaded, peaceful environment perfect for all ages.
Enjoy:

• Picnic areas and Gazebo

• Playgrounds for children

• Walking and open green space

• Community events and seasonal gatherings

City Park is open daily from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, and the gazebo is available for reservation for parties, reunions, and events.

⚾ Irvin Ballpark – Where Community and Sports Come Together

Recently revitalized through grants and community support, Irvin Ballpark is home to local youth sports and a central part of Daingerfield’s outdoor recreation.

Features include:

• Baseball and softball fields

• Dugouts and bleachers

• Concession area (available during games)

• Sponsor-supported enhancements and park upgrades

We invite families, teams, and spectators to join us for games and community workdays as we continue to improve the space for everyone to enjoy.

 Get Involved – Help Keep Our Parks Beautiful

We believe that public spaces thrive when the community comes together. Residents are encouraged to:

• Volunteer at clean-up events

• Report maintenance needs to City Hall

• Host community-friendly activities at our parks

• Support future upgrades through sponsorship or donations
