IMPORTANT DATES FOR MAY 2027 GENERAL ELECTION

• First Day to File for a Place on the Ballot- Wednesday, January 13, 2027
• Last Day to File for a Place on the Ballot- Friday, February 12, 2027 (5:00 pm) 
• Last Day to Register to Vote-  Thursday, April 1 , 2027 (30 days before Election Day per Texas law)
• First Day of Early Voting- Monday, April 19 , 2027
• Last Day of Early Voting – Tuesday, April 27, 2027
• Election Day- Saturday, May 1, 2027

  The election to select 3 at-large Council Members awill be conducted on May 1, 2027.

  All places are elected at large. A prospective candidate shall be a qualified voter of the State of Texas, resided continuously in the State for 12 months and the City for six months immediately preceding the deadline for filing an application for a place on the ballot. Voting locations within the City of Daingerfield, Texas will be at Daingerfield City Hall located at 101 Linda Drive, Daingerfield, TX 75638 for early voting and on Election Day at J.D. Parrish Administration Building located at 200 Linda Drive, Dangerfield, TX 75638.
