Supporting Local Businesses. Celebrating Local Art. Revitalizing Our Community.

The Daingerfield Type B Economic Development Corporation is excited to launch the Business Mural Program, a new initiative aimed at bringing art, color, and vibrancy to our community—one wall at a time.

This grant program provides financial support to local businesses who wish to install exterior murals on their buildings. Murals not only improve curb appeal, but also celebrate our community’s culture, create memorable landmarks, and boost local pride and economic activity.

Program Highlights

• Grants up to $5,000 per mural

• 50/50 match required from the business or property owner

• Open to commercial properties within Daingerfield city limits

• Murals must reflect positive themes, community values, or local culture

• Funds are reimbursed upon project completion and final inspection

Who Can Apply?

• Business owners or property owners of commercial buildings in Daingerfield

• Applicants must be in good standing with the City (no outstanding taxes or code violations)

• Murals must be completed within 6 months and maintained for at least 5 years

What You’ll Need to Apply:

• Mural design or concept sketch

• Artist information and sample work

• Itemized project budget

• Photos of mural wall location

• Owner permission (if applicable)
