PRELIMINARY NOTICE: SCHEDULED WATER LINE REPAIR AND POTENTIAL BOIL WATER ADVISORY

Water Quality Testing: Thursday, May 29, 2025
Anticipated Lifting of Advisory: Friday, May 30, 2025 (pending test results)

The City of Daingerfield is providing this preliminary notice to inform residents of upcoming scheduled water line repair work to be conducted on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

As part of this work, water service may be temporarily disrupted in certain areas of the city. In accordance with state regulations, a boil water notice will be issued for all definitely affected areas and possibly impacted areas on the day of the repair.

This is only a preliminary notice.
The official boil water notice will be issued Wednesday, May 28, 2025, once the scope of the impact is confirmed.

Possible Areas That Could Be Affected:

Due to the layout of our water line system, the following areas are not expected to be impacted, but may be subject to precautionary measures depending on how the system responds during the repair:

We will issue an official boil water notice on Wednesday for all areas determined to be affected after valves are turned and repair work begins. Water samples will be collected the following day, and the advisory will be lifted once results confirm the water is safe—anticipated by Friday, May 30.
